Upper Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)

Upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is a cosmetic procedure which aims to reduce any excess or sagging skin around the upper eyelids.

Hooded or sagging eyelids often impact people’s vision which is why they choose a surgical option such as blepharoplasty.

What will your Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty look like at The Yorkshire Skin Hospital?

  • A FREE initial consultation will take place with Dr Colin Wright who will thoroughly explain the procedure and costs associated in order to help you decide whether the surgical route is appropriate for your individual needs.
  • If surgical treatment is decided, our friendly reception staff will help you to book in a date for your surgery.
  • On the day of your surgery, local anaesthetic with sedation will be used and an incision will be made on each eye lid where any excess fat or tissue or skin will be removed. The incision will be closed with a neat, clean and tidy stitch leaving a minor scar on each eyelid. Dr Wright prides himself on making your scar as aesthetically pleasing as possible.
