Sports Massage Therapist

“I am a qualified sports massage therapist focusing on soft tissue maintenance, pre and post event massage, anatomy and physiology. I am also a professional drummer with a degree from the Leeds College of Music and have performed all over the UK and internationally.

I have personal experience of multiple musculoskeletal issues as well as RSI. I have also had a knee operation to remove cartilage from the back of my knee cap. As a professional musician, I have worked hard to understand how to look after my body within the demands of regular performances which have caused strain on my muscles resulting in repetitive strain injury. This personal experience inspired me to move into sports massage therapy to learn more about looking after myself and also to help others in the same way that I have received help from therapists.

I have been a patient at the Lawrence Clinic for podiatry and chiropractic treatment and am thrilled to now be part of the team. The service and treatment I received from the clinic was of the highest standard and I am proud to be part of the clinic’s team.

With my personal and professional experience, you can expect a sympathetic ear with a good grounding in knowledge of sports massage, anatomy and physiology. I understand how it feels to take steps towards rehabilitation of injuries using massage and its role in maintaining a healthy body pre/post event or in maintaining a solid foundation of soft tissue.

I look forward to treating you!”
