Repetitive Sprain Injury

Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) is an occupational disorder. It commonly affects the wrist and forearm and is often work-related, eg, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. There may be pain, stiffness weakness or tingling, which will increase with activity.

It is caused by chronic overuse and inflammation of soft tissues – ligaments, muscles and tendons.

The condition is often multi-factorial, and Chiropractic is successful by treating all the neuro-musculoskeletal components of Repetitive Strain Injury. Chiropractors are also well qualified to advise on ergonomics in the home and at work.
